The City of Akron’s Lock 3, a downtown beacon of fun and entertainment, is thrilled to announce the beginning of its 2021 spring and summer season on the iconic Cleveland Clinic Akron General Stage. Filled with evening concerts, festivals, and more than 40 community events, Lock 3’s summer schedule was crafted to bring back safe community entertainment, following all directives currently in place to provide top-notch experiences or the entire family.
Lock 3 will continue to follow Ohio public health orders, and with guidance from Governor DeWine’s office, the outdoor entertainment venue will not require masks, social distancing, or limited occupancy.
The health and safety of our staff and guests remain our top priority. Lock 3 is requesting that all guests self-monitor and not attend events if they show symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-19. Additionally, Lock 3 has plenty of space and guests who wish to remain socially distant should have areas to do so. While masks will not be required outdoors, they are welcome and encouraged for those who wish to wear them. In addition, masks will be required for anyone entering any City Building, per the City of Akron Mask Policy effective August 9th, 2021.
